The Breeze Whispers

Polina Plotnikova is a fine art photographer who strives to create artistic, inspiring contemporary images.  She runs a Still Life Group at The Camera Club, Kennington, London and this month’s session focussed on intentional camera movement and multiple exposure to create dynamic images of flowers.  Check out the club calendar for future sessions.

An Elizabethan Progress – Exhibition

Last year I had the good fortune to be part of a Royal Photographic Society project inspired by Crossrail, based on documenting life above the tunnelled sections of London’s new Elizabeth Line.   The book has now been published by The Royal Photographic Society and may be purchased HERE.

The University of Greenwich has been kind enough to provide space for an exhibition of work contained in the book.  Further details are below.

London College of Fashion MA Graduate Show 2018

The show styled by Adele Cany at Stella Creatives took place at Victoria Studios, 15 Eccleston Place, London SW1.  Makeup was provided by Claire Mulleady and the M∙A∙C PRO team and nails by Michelle Class using Artistic Colour Revolution.  Production was by creative agency Bacchus who also specialise in fashion and luxury events production.  Music was provided by Princess Julia and Luke Howard.

Cherie McNair visits The Camera Club at Kennington, London

This week Cherie McNair CEO of the Australian Centre for Photography met The Camera Club president Kevin Birch at Gallery1885.  Kevin was able to offer a tour of dark rooms, studio and exhibition space.  The visit included viewing the current exhibition, the excellent “No Matter of Indifference” by Peter Moseley and viewing a selection of the club’s print archive.  More information about the Australian Centre for Photography is HERE  If you would like to find out more about the exceptional facilities of The Camera Club click The Camera Club.
